I'm just working with what we have in NFS v4.2:  ALLOCATE is fallocate(flags = 
0), and DEALLOCATE is fallocate(flags = FALLOCATE_FL_KEEP_SIZE | 
FALLOCATE_FL_PUNCH_HOLE).
