About Pitivi ============ Pitivi is a free software non-linear video editor. It is licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License. Pitivi is designed to be intuitive video editing software that integrates well in the GNOME desktop environment. It aims to be "a powerful, flexible video editor that can appeal to prosumers and professionals."
Tarball releases are provided largely for distributions to build packages. If you are interested in building Pitivi from source, we would recommend building from version control. News ==== Second beta and 4th release of the new version of Pitivi based on GES. All the improvements from 0.91, 0.92 and 0.93, plus: * The main toolbar and menubar have been replaced by a headerbar and menubutton, saving a significant amount of precious vertical space and using the horizontal space better. * The viewer has been ported to use a GStreamer GL video output sink instead of the Clutter sink.
