About GLib ========== GLib is the low-level core library that forms the basis for projects such as GTK+ and GNOME. It provides data structure handling for C, portability wrappers, and interfaces for such runtime functionality as an event loop, threads, dynamic loading, and an object system.
News ==== We have now added 'g_autofree' as a libgsystem-style autocleanup macro that calls g_free() on the content of a local variable when it leaves scope (working only on GCC and clang). GApplication now has an "is-busy" property, allowing one to query the effective busy state. There have been various other bugfixes and cleanups.
