The problem is in M3.
An it occurs if:
ftpserver.user.xxx.maxloginnumber=1
ftpserver.user.xxx.maxloginperip=1
Connect with FileZilla and transfer a file, it first runs the ondisconnect with
session.getUser() equals null and after the onuploadend.

Is this with the M3 release (just to know where to start looking for
the potential bug)?
No, onDisconnect should not be called on upload, and looking at the
source it doesn't seem to be. You're sure that the session is not
closed by Filezilla for some reason?
Looking at the MINA code, the user should still be in the session on disconnect.
