I've found in 2004 that sometimes you can't delete objects on stage? in that for some reason every time you delete a clip, it ignores your request. Its only when you restart FMX2004 that it actually disappeared? or allows you to delete it.
I think this problem would be linked to yours. I've also experienced FMX2004 just drop out when i compile a swf with v2 components in it.

(I have thought about sending this to the MM team, but its hard to replicate or even explain).

Hi all,
I have a really weird issue, hopefully someone else has experienced it too & knows of a fix: On Friday I finished up writing a bunch of ActionScript, tested, all worked, all cool. Saved the file, went home & enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend of televised sport & beer. Got to work this morning & I find that the part I was working on has stopped working altogether.
I dug into the fla, and quite a large chunk of code that I'd been working on on Friday has completely disappeared.
Not sure if it's related - but the code was inside a component & I seem to remember seeing something about 2004 compiling components separately, though I'll be buggered if I can find any info about it (probably just dreaming :p).
The last modified timestamp on the fla is corresponds to when I saved it, so I didn't accidentally not save it or anything stupid, and there are other bits of code in the file that I *know* were put in after this particular missing one.
Any ideas?
