Ask the event organiser to give you details of display (Manufacturer and model), then you can look up the specs for that display to find it's resolution. Eg Sony 42" PLASMA WEGA TV KE42MR1 has a resolution of 1024x768 or Sony 42" KZ SERIES PLASMA TV. KZ42TS1E has a resolution of 1024x1024.

Beware that the pixels are not necessarily square in shape. This can result in distortions, ie somethings will look squashed or stretched.

Hey all,

Can someone advise best resolution for anamorphic 16:9 display when building
a new flash file??

We've got a presentation flash that's been done in 1024x768, but event
organiser's need it suitable for 16:9 to display on plasmas/widescreens.

Many thanks

Matt
