Sorry, I didn't reply because I am a little unsure
of that myself. However, since it looks like noone is stepping
in...
My understanding is that it IS in fact possible
with non-progressive flash video (ie: video for version 6 of the player) and I
have managed to preload the entire video clips before playing them.
As understand it, Flash 7's "progressive"
video loads sections of the video at a time and I am unsure if it is possible to
load the entire video.
Can you run a quick test?
