The top menu is the
problem, all the pages (except subscribe and links, “please don’t click
these buttons as it crashes the app”) work in FireFox, but not IE. Can you guys please

In browser DOM you
use getElementById to get a reference to the object using it's name.
There are numerous ways to do this in Flash. Modifying your example
slightly: function
