I wouldn't call myself hard core.  But I've been using Sepy (http://www.sephiroth.it/python/sepy.php) for the last year or more.  It has many great features.  I know many are doing great things with Eclipse and MTASC (http://www.osflash.org/doku.php?id=fame).  I had a look.  It's got great potential and goes well beyond what Sepy offers.  But as far as the editors go I'm still using Sepy.
