I'm discussing with base station vendors about this A5/1 issue. I'll return to this topic when I get answers from all of them. It may take some time because many people have their winter vacations during this and next week - in fact I'm too on vacation next week and will not think about these issues too much during that time ;-) But after that I hope this thing gets clear.
