I wasn't being entirely serious.  More pointing out that freely offering to
mail everyone in all of North America 75 posters probably wasn't the best
decision they could have made.  Although they /have/ made worse.

US$40 billion is a lot of money.  And, to get technical, we'd probably only
have to burn through about 1/4 of that to start making them sweat, 1/2-2/3
would result in some serious repurcussions from their end.  Still, even at
'only' 1/4 of $40 billion, that's many a wall that would be covered by
Microsoft marketing materials.

However, I'm sure once they handed out their ten millionth poster, they'd
close down the free-landfil^Wposters-for-everyone deal.  As it appears they
did at the end of January.
