Done. So I believe I "fixed" FuncWeb's identity crisis. By default, TurboGears stores all identities and visits in a db of your choice. Thankfully, their identity management is fairly modular, so I was able to easily write a PAMIdentityProvider that will authenticate users against PAM, and a dumbed down VisitManager.
