Maybe a firewall? Try this:

on overlord:
iptables -A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp \
--dport 52135 -j ACCEPT

on minion:
iptables -A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp \
--dport 52134 -j ACCEPT

OR *TEMPORARILY* on both (this will turn firewall off completely):
service iptables stop
