The Gulf of Maine Marine Education Association has a few spaces left in
their spring workshop featuring Mike Williamson of WhaleNet: Utilizing
Technology to Learn About Whales and the Marine Environment.  The workshop
takes place On Saturday, March 31, 2001 at Harrison Middle School in
Yarmouth, Maine, from 8:30 to 3:00 p.m..  This is a hands-on workshop where
participants will learn how to integrate technology with "traditional"
teaching units while meeting requirements for state and national standards.

The cost for the day is $38.00 which includes a continental breakfast. 
Brown bag a sandwich for lunch and we will supplement with beverages,
chips, and desert.  This conference is for GOMMEA members only.....of
course you may join GOMMEA when you register for only $10.00 more!
