Responsibilities include working with the Board of Directors, office and staff management, media relations, fundraising, program development and servicing our province-wide membership. Duties will also include managing the Toxics in the Environment program. This will entail project planning and development, proposal-writing and meeting the program goals and objectives as directed by the Board of Directors. >The successful candidate will have experience with non-profit organizations, management skills, a knowledge of environmental issues (particularly related to pollition and toxic contaminants), strong communication and/or advocacy skills, and experience working with volunteers and community groups. S/He must also be highly motivated and interested in working with a dynamic organization on a variety of issues. Bilingualism would be an asset. Salary is commensurate with equivalent positions in the non-profit sector.
