Its a great Darwin Award device. I noticed the latest kits from Wally world come complete with a safety temp shutoff drilled into the frying pot. Strictly for the frying newbs. As a survivor of more than 15 successful turkey fryings, some of the things these testers do seem awful stupid, but then some people just dont understand how all this works. Yes I fried a turkey this year and its mostly a yawner... waiting 45 minutes for that carcass to fry up just right... If you dont start drinking your beer until about halfway thru the frying, you'll be fine... :)
