Considering that "The other side" is the one that is, primarily, funded by wealthy individuals and large corporations, whereas the NRA is a citizen organization, and most gun manufacturers relatively small companies, I'd assume that the security groups of the companies run by those wealthy individuals, like Monster Worldwide Andrew McKelvey, or Sprint under Esrey, have assisted them.
