If you go look at pastebin, Public Pastes, about 1/3 of them new entries appear to be from keylogger type apps. It will list the apps/windows open and key strokes associated to a particular app. I have noticed a few that appear to be login information and some that are obvious chat, via google/gmail/gtalk Yes I know this is not new, but there seems to be a surge in the amount of activity. Didn't know if it was something from a known piece of malware, or what... just found it interesting and didn't know if anyone else would. > > On Thu, Apr 28, 2011 at 2:08 PM, MadHat Unspecific <[email protected]> > wrote: >> >> Anyone else notice pastebin being used for bots/keyloggers to drop off >> data? >> >> -- >> MadHat Unspecific ([email protected]) >> "The true man wants two things: danger and play. >> For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything." >> - Friedrich Nietzsche >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. >> https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec >> Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. > > > > -- > ~Shidash > A person shielded by a true, benevolent passion is invincible! > -- MadHat Unspecific ([email protected]) "The true man wants two things: danger and play.
