No, no, no. That's simply not how things are done in modern corporate America. First, costs must be passed on to customers. Second, shareholders must be pacified with dividends. (Oh...those costs have to be passed on as well. Good thing there are customers!) Finally: promotions and bonuses for management, as the company *must* retain the highly qualified and clearly irreplaceable people who've brought all this about. (Optional: if a fall guy is needed, find that geek in IT who was incessantly whining about poor site security.
