threat to me came a bit later, and, unfortunately, I don't seem to have kept 
it.  I 
did keep some of his correspondence.  It went on for years.  For example, at

Last message I had from him was purportedly from a "lawyer" informing me that 
he had died, and that therefore I was now *required* to take down my review of 
his book.  Unfortunately, I don't seem to have kept that one, either.
