somebody, think it was darkstar, mentioned standardized band names a little while ago. i didnt pay much attn to the post at the time, but now i'm thinking it might be a good idea to enhance the implicit functionality contemplated by this mechanism. [wow, listen to me talk all fancy]. what about a drop down menu with a couple dozen bands, including "other", which only then would lead the fileset routine to a manual entry box, such that the uploader is made aware. maybe petty, but just bringing up the thought.
