RedHat 7.2 Linux PentiumII -300mhz 192MB RAM ATI Rage Pro accelerated 3d graphics card JRE 1.3.1
i'm running furthur 1.3.5 and have not had any serious problems. Nevertheless, furthur is consuming big time processor time almost 90 percent. I've had it running for almost one complete day (24hrs). The memory footprint seems large too. it's consuming ~42MB of Ram. i have no ideas what the previous version consumed so this could be an improvement. I'll provide more information after a mess around with the priorites. Also, i don't have right click functionality. I really don't know anything about how java works, but i should have it right? Is anyone else running furthur on a linux distro having the same problem? Last thing, i am currently pulling down two shows, PH1991-11-15_SHNF and WILCO2001-09-26_SHNF. The phish show is crusin',but I'm have some connectivity issues with the wilco show. the show will begin downloading and will disconnect after a couple of minutes. This process is repeated as i have my reconnects set for every five minutes It's a great piece of software that's destined to change things.
