Hi!
This is strange - Furthur used to create a directory in Temp
where it would store a new .tpm files every few minutes, usually
960kb long, numbered in increments of 20, and stick all of them together
to complete a track when all the bits had been received.
I am now downloading the NY76-11-15 set which I got 8 complete tracks
from on 8 October (my most successful download yet!). It's now been
re-posted as a version 1.2.7 - before it was an unknown. Still shows as 0%
in the partials window, though the 8 tracks have shown up on the small
download screen and that says 45.47 complete.
Strange thing is, the NY1976-11-15 folder in Temp only shows the
CURRENT .tpm file (at the moment it's NY1976-11-15_8_1487.tpm) - when it
started the new download it showed _1407.tpm, then _1427.tpm, 1447.tpm,
1467.tpm but each disappeared as the new .tpm file started, so they
are not all "stacking up" in the folder like before, but seem to be being
deleted. Unless Furthur is storing them in yet another folder as they are
completed, which I can't find, they are being deleted as soon as they are
completed and the next one starts. As usual each file shows 0kb
size when it is actually downloading, then jumps to 960kb when
complete and a new file starts with a number 20 higher, but about 2-5
seconds later the old file disappears leaving only the newest file
showing in that folder.
Also I no longer get a furthur_info.cfg file created.
Just got an Error 150 message, the download stopped and the new
folder in Temp was deleted completely. Thanks for congratulating me
on finding "the error that should never happen" - I am
notifying you as requested on the error notice.
Trying to restart the partial now gives error 227.
Checking the folder that contained the original 8 complete tracks, a
new track NY1976-11-15-d1t09.wav.mp3 was created when the folder in Temp
was erased, but it's of 0kb length as the original 960kb bits that furthur
should have stuck together to make up the final .mp3 file had not been
saved.
Please advise.......
