I tried this over xwindows though our WAN and this
thing uses like 600k/sec to refresh the window, and its slow at that. At
the same time, other programs need only like 8k/sec and they are smooth. I
am using X-win32 5.1 to a Sun OS 5.8 or something like that machine. Any
unix people out there know why it needs so much stinking bandwidth?
