Pete,
Delete the old site with no saved back ups? Maybe I am just paranoid,
but if it were left up to me, I would not do that if at all possible. Also,
is the old site written in the same format as the new site ? What was the
reason your client decided to have you write up a "new" (as in re-design)
from the ground up if the old site is in the same format as the "new" site?
Lastly, is your expected customer (i.e. user) base expected to have the
latest browsers that support the CSS standards? If not, do you have access
to the versions of browsers that they are most likely to use when viewing
the new site so you can test for compatibility issues?
Just some things to think about, if you have not already done so. If
this is not new to you, then please feel free to ignore it. :-)
