I know that this is an open source product, but there is such a thing as CVS
with WinCVS/MacCVS/gCVS clients along with CVS Servers for Linux/Unix/NT
(yes NT at http://www.cvsnt.org/).
This is particularly useful for devloping over various different platforms.
Not quite as sophisticated as Visual Source Safe (that ASP/VB developers -
those MS lovers - think is the bees knees, and isn't necessarily!) but it
does the job of version control well (when you get to know it that is).
Quite steep learning curve, but good none the less.
If you have a bit of cash, I would probably tell you to spend it on
something like Visual Source Safe IF you can ensure that you will only be
developing for CF/ASP on Windows. Otherwise look around.
