How do you have the debugger setup? Are you specifying IP addresses?
Possibly using a proxy server that is masking your actual IP address? Run a
simple page with a <cfoutput>#cgi.remote_addr#</cfoutput> to verify the IP
address that you put into CF matches what it is seeing. If this is the
problem, be aware that you can put the proxy's IP address in there, but then
it will show the debug information to everyone coming through that proxy.

As for your Win98 question, CF won't care which OS because it sends the
debug as HTML at the end of your page.

Dan

Subject: CF Administrator question - we can't see any debugger
information ...

The Situation:
Our office has repeadedly attempted to get CF Administrator to show
the debug information and failed. My system uses
Win 98 as the OS, and we have verified that the CF Administrator is set up
properly to show the debug information.
Unfortunately, it is still not showing up when I load a page into my
browser. We are all using laptops as or workstations,
so we can take work home if needbe.

My Question:
Does the ColdFusion Administrator/Server possess the ability to send
the debug information to a system
running win 98 as the OS, (assuming the administrator has been set up
correctly), or do we have to upgrade our
laptops to Win NT for the debuging information to display?

If the answer to the above question is a "no". Where might you
suggest we begin looking for the solution to this
problem? Without the debuff information, it has become much more
cumbersome to pinpoint any bugs to date.

Any help, or advice, would be greatly appreciated, since we are
starting a very big project very soon and I will
be needing the debugger information to help speed up developement.

If any of you wish to email me off list, please send any
comments/questions/suggestions to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thank you.
