Look, why not just remove this idiots email address from the list and
prevent further subscriptions. The number of asinine and idiotic posts to
this list crazy. Why can't people simply reply to people directly when
sending messages like "Thanks"? Again, just over the weekend more than 50%
of the posts to this list are GARBAGE!! I would hope that people who are
smart enough to write ColdFusion applications have the sense to show
restraint discretion in their postings.
Its funny to me that the very people that make the most meaningless posts
are probably the most adamant ones against the so called Spam (i.e., the
recruiter emails). While a technical list is not the place for that, its
really not the place for meaningless drivel and pointless messages either.
Again, it would seem to me that some one should set up a copy of the Allaire
Forum software just for this group. It would sure make life easier by
allowing us to request emails from only those threads that are of interest
and relevant to our needs. There is a great wealth of content in this list
but lately it seems to get lost among the crap.
Just my thoughts.
