try using a FileExists(absolute_path) check first.

Has anyone had any problems deleting files that have a space in the filename
using <cffile action="delete" ...>? The tag appears to just skip the action
completely. I don't even get an error until I try to delete the directory
that contains the file (cannot delete directory, directory is not empty).
