Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of a newbie to CF and need to set up a CF server.

My site will be mostly Intranet with some Internet and pretty low concurrent
usage at first (<50 at any given time and pretty low requests per
second..like maybe I should initially be measuring in hits per minutes <g>).
I plan to run a win2k Adv. Server with CF Server and IIS as the only
services available on it. Due to the nature of the funding of the business,
I must give myself enough headroom for up to 5 years.

This is definitely **not** an enterprise level e-commerce site. So my
question is what might be you all consider reasonable choices/configs for
low and & mid-level requirements for a **solid** running system. The
database server will be running right next to it and both will be on a
firewall/nat protected setup.

I've been looking the IBM Netfinity's such as the 5100 with 512MB and PIII
866 single processor.

Does CF benefit much from dual processors? what is the sweet spot for RAM?
Does page processing require more ram or more processor or faster disks?

thanks for your comments and sorry for the OT post...
