Steve,
He's as much as said that himself... he looked at it early on and didn't
like it. As it became more popular, he took another glance, but was misled
in several ways by the information that was (not) on the site. Basically,
the core concept doesn't appeal to him enough to make it worth his time to
clear up his understanding of the details.
Which is really quite reasonable, although his status as a guru makes it
kinda unfortunate.
