We're using Fusebox with CF solely to do data presentation and
minimal validation in the browser. All the hard work is being done in
servers written in another language (COOL:Gen). Although these
actually execute on a Unix box they are exposed as COM objects on
the webserver... The server pieces were originally written as part of
a client/server application. Because we're able to re-use them, a lot
of our application is already done - all the searching, sorting,
filtering, validation etc of DB data so we can concentrate on making
the interface work well for our users. We find that the Fusebox
approach assisted greatly with our task!
