Hello all,
As some of you know, I have been working on a "little" project over the
last couple of months. Specifically an indexing engine for Verity to make
it compatible with FuseBox. Well, my little project is nearing its birth,
ready to take on the community as Beta 1.
A little background. This application was designed with simplicity in mind.
I set out with one goal in mind, "If you couldnt drop it in and have it
working in an hour or less, it wasn't good enough!". So, far I have included
all of the functions for dealing with Collections and almost all of the
functions for Indexing them. The app includes a circuit with a generic
search form and related files that you can modify if need be.
I have gotten very close to this mark by dropping it into Steve Nelson's
codebase for the new Jazzloft site to try it out. I knew nothing about the
site or the code other than the fact that I knew I wanted to index all of
the files containing the display information and not the qry, app, act or
url files. The first few tests have been amazingly successful.
I have a few things to tweak before I release it for testing, in the mean
time, I need a name for the app. Sure I could come up with something cheesy
but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
No, this isnt a contest and no I am not going to send you on a fabulous
vacation for 2 to Hawaii or anything. I would just like some suggestions for
a name.
On the other hand, if I use your suggestion, i will purchase a copy of the
FuseBox book from SecretAgents.com and have it shipped to you as a sort of
"Thank You".
