I realize that this subject has been done and over done, but I wanted to get
a basic answer as to the limitations/negative impact of fusebox with respect
to search engines.
I am have been consistently using fusebox for 9 months or so. In that time,
I have not had to deal with any projects where search engine placement was
an issue. I now have a project where it is and I'm not sure how to deal with
it. It seems I have three options:
1. Just do a standard urls (index.cfm?fuseaction=home.showitem&itemid=802),
2. use search engine friendly urls
(index.cfm/fuseaction/home.showitem/itemid/802)
3. Leave much of the static content in .htm and only fusebox the part of the
app that absolutely requires it (login, member services, etc.)
Since I have never dealt with the WHOLE search engine world before, I would
appreciate any help I can get, however basic. I appreciate it.
