They probably have competitive rates but I would avoid using the LinkPoint
system. Here we call it StinkPoint! Its difficult to configure, changes
frequently and their tech people don't really know much about integrating it
with the outside world. We use either CyberCash, AuthorizeNet or Signio for
payment processing in real time. All work quite well and are fairly easy to
implement.
You can get a merchant account quite easily via QuickBooks Pro. There is no
monthly fee, the discount rates are quite good and they integrate with the
Signio (IC Verify) payment processing system very easily.

Does anyone have experience with Cardservice International?
[http://www.usachargeit.com/main.htm] Their rates are competitive, and I'm
researching them now.

Can anyone recommend a good, merchant company to use for real-time credit
processing? There are so many out there that it is a little overwhelming.
I'd love to get some good recommendations. Feel free to email me off-list at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks.
