That's *almost* correct, Jeff, but the truth is that we don't all speak at once. Each of us, depending on their longitude and personal habits, tends to speak only during certain time periods. Between us, however, we manage to fill all of the space.
Did you know that frogs do this? They don't all croak at once, otherwise they couldn;t hear who was saying what. So they stagger their croaks, and every frog has his/her allocated space in the cycle.
