There are a few ways to use it. The simplest way is to do what Kevin says and
put it in the switch. The way you do that is to have one fuseaction for the
'set' and a second fuseaction for the 'return'. The most common use of this is
in login systems, but i've made use of it elsewhere. There is a pretty good
tutorial on it at:

http://www.secretagents.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewlets.viewlet&viewlet_id=6

It uses Fusebox 2.0 code, but the concepts are identical, in FB 2 we put the
switch in the index.cfm file, in FB 3 we use fbx_switch.cfm. I'll try and update
this tutorial shortly.

If you'd like, stop by SecretAgents.com and click the "live assistance" button
at the bottom of the page and I'll talk you through the use of
<cf_returnfuseaction>, it's a really neat tag.
