Greetings: I am helping a local food cooperative with a total site redesign. (I do their web work in exchange for a break on my groceries.) We are redoing everything from the ground up. I would like to set the site up to be database driven. I have at my disposal PHP4.1.2 and MySQL 3.23.40. I have heard a little about Fusebox and wonder if I could use it. We don't have any immediate e-commerce plans and aside from a few forms, nothing that would qualify as "applications".
I have read some of the intro material, gone through a few of the PowerPoints, but am unsure how it would be used to run a site with a pretty basic hierarchy. I plan on having 2-3 different page templates for our css/xhtml-based design into which I'd just like to feed parameters for what links and content should appear. Can Fusebox do that for me? If so can someone direct a newbie to some "(this) fool-proof" directions on how to start? Feel free to reply off-line if you'd like. I just subscribed to this list and am still learning my way around it. Thank you very much for your time, Bob ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bUrFMa.bV0Kx9 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
