Just to make sure I'm right, if he had it in the fbx_Switch file but then calls another circuit it won't check the security. If you put it in the root fbx_Settings file then it will get processed everytime. Am I correct?

And I meant to put it in fbx_Switch, not fbx_Settings. Something like this: <CFIF NOT(Session.IsLoggedIn)> <CFLOCATION URL="#self#?fuseaction=admincircuit.login"> </CFIF> <CFSWITCH expression = "#fusebox.fuseaction#"> etc. Also, I'd like to know if there is a more conventional way of securing an entire circuit if this isn't a proper way to do it. Otherwise the next person to look at your code will have to spend at least a few minutes trying to figure out why every single fuseaction results in a login form. Also, the only way to really make that work is to change attributes.fuseaction in the top-level fbx_settings, which basically means that you would have to secure every circuit in your app and wouldn't be able to plug it into another app. Patrick ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bUrFMa.bV0Kx9 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
