No.

I think he meant:

#13 - 1 pts
#7 - 7 pts
#1 - 13 pts

so

13x(1) = 1x(13)

"- The 13 seats will be offered to the 13 nominees with the highest
cumulative
votes. That means 13 bottom choice votes (ie 13) are worth the same as a
single
top choice vote (ie 1)."

So, they all count the same.

I am curious how the math on this will work. Is this right...???

Number 1 ... all the number one votes decided number one.
Number 2 ... all the number two votes decided number two.
etc.

This could be strange... if someone is voted for them most times in the 1 to
13 range... but they are not voted top ever, it could work like our last
presidential election. HEY... Fusebox CHAD's. COOL!

How does the tally actually work?

Thanks.

John

The nominations are in for the official Fusebox steering committee, and the
polls are now open. Please set aside some time, and put some thought into
your
voting. The Fusebox steering committee will be in charge of the official
Fusebox
specification. Any change requests to the specification will go through this
committee.

Here's how the voting works:

- Only members can vote, you can sign up to be a member at
http://www.fusebox.org.
- There are 13 spots on the steering committee up for grabs
- Each voter votes for 13 people, ranking their top choice number 1, and
their
bottom choice number 13
- You can only vote once, so spend some time reviewing the nominees before
you
vote.
- Voting will be open all week. The polls will close next monday, votes
will
be
tallied, and results released.
- The 13 seats will be offered to the 13 nominees with the highest
cumulative
votes. That means 13 bottom choice votes (ie 13) are worth the same as a
single
top choice vote (ie 1).
- If an elected person declines the seat on the committee, the next runner
up
will be offered the spot. This will continue until all 13 seats are filled.

Good luck to the nominees, and let the voting begin! Go to
http://www.fusebox.org log in as an official fusebox member, and follow the
links on the home page.
