I have been contemplating the file format and have come to the
following:

1. Visual Wireframer will save the wireframe in the .wir format for
backward compatibility.
2. It will also save it in a new CSV format for all versions that do not
have native XML support.
3. It will save the file in XML format, the preferred method. I have a
basic wireframe xml doc set up that I am going to use.

I have started the upload of the new IDE. This system has been tested
with IE 6.0, Opera 5.0 and Netscape. Besides a little code clean up for
Netscape 4.0, all scripts are working. The menu system works correctly
and the dragging works correctly. Tomorrow I will have the generation
of new pages and connection of the pages via links available for your to
use. Then the following day, Friday, I should have the saving feature
enabled. The first format that the application will save in will be the
CSV file format. I will add the rest as time goes on.

Enjoy the new interface and the application as each of its features come
online, daily.

It looks as though it could be really good ...

But ...

I can't get the Add link function to work (on IE5.5, Win2k) so I can't
link pages, save a wireframe file, etc. I right click and see "add link"

on the pop-up menu, but clicking on that appears to do nothing.

Will this new app generate standard .wir files as per the original
wireframe app ?

Andy.
