Hello everyone,

I’ve been learning FB3 via this list and the various tutorials mentioned both of which have been very helpful. I’ve managed to set up a small FB3 application and everything is working great. Now I would like to convert a much more complex intraweb site I inherited. The site was done in FB2(although not entirely to standard).

My problem is I’m having a hard time deciding how to set up the display pages for some of the more complex pages, two in particular have a main display page with various other circuit pages included. Many of the display pages are forms that have dropdown boxes which are actually another display page included (these dropdowns may also be included in another circuits dsp).

i.e. dsp_main.cfm looks something like this:

<table cellpadding=15 cellspacing=0 border=0 align="center" width="700">

<TR>

<TD width="350">

            <CFInclude template="#KBase_Folder#/dsp_KBaseSum.cfm<BR>

            <CFInclude template="#Call_Folder#/dsp_Calls.cfm"><BR>

            </TD>

<TD width="350">

<CFInclude template="#Issues_Folder#/dsp_IssuesSum.cfm"><BR>

            <CFInclude template="#Notes_Folder#/dsp_NoteSum.cfm"><BR>

            <CFInclude template=”#Login_Folder#/dsp_LoginList.cfm”><BR>

              </TD>

</TR>

</table>

Each one of these pages could include other display pages from their respective folder. If I stay with this approach I need to alias each folder like this or is there a more appropriate way to do it. I’m beginning to think I should eliminate the practice of cfincluding display pages in other displays.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg
