I'd advise buying a copy of Nat and Jeff's book, Fusebox: Developing
ColdFusion Application, which covers wireframing, prototyping, DevNotes,
Fusedocs, architecting, etc. John Q and my book, Discovering Fusebox 3,
goes into the Fusebox architecture, Fusedocs, coding, etc. Nat/Jeff's
book is available at Amazon.com and is scheduled for June 27
publication. Our book is available for pre-order at at a discounted rate
at www.techspedition.com.

If you have a hankering for in-person training of the entire process
from initial meeting to acceptance testing, Jeff and I are holding a
FastTrack to Fusebox class in Washington, D.C. in June. More info at
www.halhelms.com.

Steve mentioned the "Conversations" newsletters that begin this
discussion. You can get to those from both Steve's site
(www.secretagents.com) and my site.

Also, if this is a really large job, I would definitely contact the
folks at Synthis (www.synthis.com) and see when 2.5 will be released. I
personally would want that on a large job.

Subject: Re-architecting E-commerce Site w/Fusebox, Need Pointers

Hi all,
I have a huge job in front of me. Basically I've already built an
e-commerce site for a client of mine and have recently talked him into
re-architecting the whole thing from the ground up using Fusebox. He and

I both think it's important that this be done in the most timely fashion

possible.

My question is: Where do I start? Do I start with the Fusedocs? How
about that wireframe tool that I've heard about?

Some background on the site: VeriSign API integration, FedEx API
integration, SSL encryption, admin/customer secure modules, more than
300 CF templates, thousands of lines of code, etc...

I've only done 1 small intranet site using Fusebox 2 so I'm not that
experienced but I love the concept of Fusebox and would like to start
using it more on a regular basis.

Thanks for any pointers you can give.
