I am getting this error when I try to transform an existing FB 3.0
application to FuseQ. I am needing the advertised features that FuseQ
offers. I can make the sample app work, but not my app. What simple
thing am i missing?

An error occurred while evaluating the expression:

  temp= AddToQ("surveys.qdefault")

 Error near line 14, column 9.

 Error resolving parameter ADDTOQ

Bob, you'll need to download the FuseQ core files, at www.techspedition.com

Subject: verisign questions?

Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have used Verisign's PayFlow Pro? I am
setting up a simple shopping cart and a recurring billing system. It is my
understanding that I can do a recurring billing based on the PNREF value
that is returned with the authorization. Then on my system, i transmit the
PNREF value as the ORIGID to the Verisign Client. I'm assuming that the
only other value that needs to be sent is the new transaction amount? Or am
I only allowed to rebill for the identical amount of the original
transaction? Sorry for the barrage of questions. Thanks again for all your
help. Also, I'm trying to think of how to automatically fire off the
billings at the end of the month. Any ideas on this?

Steve

Not too sure what you're trying to do with that snippet. Can you give us a
more concise direction you're trying to go w/ fuseQ?

I don't think addToQ() is designed to be used in that context. The only
times I'm useing the fuseQ functions, now anyways, is within my fbx_switch.

I am pretty sure (ok, really pretty sure) that that PNREF is tied only to
the original transaction. It is not meant to provide recurrent billing
functionality.

Thanks, Kevin. But that problem is solved. I included those details in
case they might help someone help me with what happened.

The problem seems to be Fusebox specific at this point. All the sites
display the correct home pages now, but the one Fusebox site is full of
errors.

Thanks again,
Kirk

Kevin,

See my first post for an error message. This is where the app chokes:
<cfif Len(fusebox.layoutfile)>
  <cfsavecontent variable="fusebox.layout">
  <cfoutput><cfinclude
temmplate="#fusebox.thislayoutpath##fusebox.layoutdir##fusebox.layoutfile#"></cfoutput>

  </cfsavecontent>
</cfif>

fusebox.layoutfile is > 0, so the conditional code should run. I get the
error on cfsavecontent.

If I rename the fbx_layouts.cfm file, the app works fine, but it
obviously loses its look.

Thanks,
Kirk

Hmm.. I saw your first message, and it indicates the error is on line 284?
I don't have 284 lines in my CF 50 core file.

Did you make sure you were running the most recent core file? I know it
hasn't changed for a while but I'm reaching here :)

Also - sorry about not completely reading the original post. It's Monday

it all sounds like the caching problem in mx. if you can afford it, try to
delete all the files in the C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\WEB-INF\cfclasses and
restart the CF service.

This was in fbx_switch. I think i solved the problem. It was inside of a
custom tag for our security. Change that and it works properly. Thank you all
for your responses.

Careful. There are instances where MX complains an error is occurring at a
particular line but the location may not necessarily be accurate. So far
I've seen it do this whenever it's a cryptic error message that doesn't make
much sense...

Just for future reference, we encourage folks who want to discuss FuseQ
or other "non-standard" Fusebox techniques to do so at the Topica
Fusebox Steering and/or Topica Fusebox Community lists. This list is
meant for discussions on standard Fusebox and we like to try and keep
on-topic and keep extraneous posts low to minimize list volume.

Thanks,

Brian
