It has this pro, and I'll check this nice idea - but I'm afraid it may
not preserve the bug IDs.

Aside from that, Savannah seems somewhat in hiatus, waiting for a
possible FSF future employee that may work part-time on the forge
before taking a decision.  I'll see if they have an ETA.
