Well, the fusionforge tarball will contain several generated files that
are not meant to be edited by the user (for example, fusionforge.pot,
and all the .gmo files), but they are all writable.

You see, when a user unpacks a tarball, it already means he or she has
full permissions to whatever comes out of the tarball, so why make his
or her life even just a tiny bit more difficult by pulling the write
permission bit from one of those files?  You are encouraging people
to use the -f option together with rm -r.  Please don't do that.
