Hi Dan,

I used the code you suggested to test if my external data file is loading.

I was getting "failed to load external file". I just had my db file name
in my javascript globals so I went in and put the whole path (I'm on a
Mac) and it worked! I thought if I had all files in the same folder it
would work without having to put in long path names, but I guess not?

So, now I'm trying to get my rule to show 3 different fields. Can I string
my results together? I tried the rule below, but now I get an empty result
(when I just had a single field in the return it worked). When I validate
is says Expression OK, but no result is shown.

if (!ExtDB.valid)
  return "Failed to load external file";

var RecNum = ExtDB.FindRecord("RadiateCode", Field("RadiateCode"));
return ExtDB.GetFieldValue(RecNum, "<leading newsize=\"110\">" + "Franchise
Name" + "<br>" + "<z newsize=\"14\">" + "<leading newsize=\"170\">" +
"Franchise Phone" + "<br>" + "<z newsize=\"9\">" + "<leading newsize=\"130\">"
+ "Franchise Website");

Thanks very much for your patience with me. I appreciate your help. Be
happy to send you files if you'd prefer to take a look.
