I find it a bit more straightforward to use the methods of the Date
object.  See:

And:
<http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Core_JavaScript_1.5_Reference:Glob
al_Objects:Date>

You can use these in conjunction with FusionPro's built-in Date
functions, like so:

  var MyDate = DateFromString("May 1, 2007");
  MyDate.setDate(MyDate.getDate()-1);
  return FormatDate(MyDate, "EE, lm dd, yyyy");
