As a thank you to our devoted and growing user community, Printable is offering this version of FusionPro as a FREE upgrade to all existing FusionPro 4.0 and 4.1 customers! Your 4.0 or 4.1 serial numbers can be used to install version 4.2. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- The release notes for FusionPro version 4.2, which contains new feature information, a list of bug fixes, installation notes, and additional release information, can be downloaded from the Printable website at: http://files.printable.com/release_notes/fp_v4.2_releaseNotes.pdf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- New Features ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- FusionPro version 4.2 offers a number of enhancements including: - Support for Acrobat 8 on the Windows platform (Acrobat 8 Mac and InDesign CS3 will be supported in a release later this year) - Support for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system - Almost a dozen enhancements to the FusionPro Desktop JavaScript Rules Editor - Inclusion of the Intelligent Mail postal barcode (aka "OneCode" and "4-State) - Support for Eight "Insert" type page media commands for VDX output - Support for spot colors in FusionPro chart output ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Information for FusionPro Web Customers ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Note that FusionPro Web, the Printable Web to Print solution, is currently undergoing QA testing with the FusionPro 4.2 VDP engine to ensure there is no interruption to your business operations. At this time, it is recommended that FusionPro 4.1 be used for templates that are to be uploaded to FusionPro Web.
