Just not so in our experience... We had SEVERAL template we made in 3.x that had horiz and vertical placements and the stacking was set to 2500 in the last column. (2500 on most of these particular jobs, yields us a cartfull)..

Moved to 4.1 and the stacking did not work UNLESS we made it the first entry then added the horizontal and vertical steps in the remaining fields..

(Step and repeat columns) 3.x

H V Stack
2 2 2500

(Step and repeat columns) 4.x

Stack H V
2500 2 2

When I say stacking did not work, I refer to a 2500 (5000 record) 2-up run
Done "the old way" - first card printed would have sequence #1 on top position and sequence #2 at the bottom.

Move the stacking to the first "column" in Inposer and it would be 1 and 2501 (as it should be)..

Didn't know about the ODBC issue, though..
